“Our team was sent to Bihar where we suspected the boy could have been kept there after being kidnapped,” New Industrial Township DCP Praveen Mehta said, adding, “though our policemen reached the spot, the kidnapper wasn’t there.”

Police said the four-year-old boy had gone to his school on Tuesday morning. But when the boy did not return from school in the evening, his parents panicked.

The parents found his school bag on the road. The family then contacted the police.
