The Delhi Police questioned Bahujan Samaj Party MP Ashok Kumar Rawat for the second time on Wednesday in the infamous human trafficking case. "He was called a second time since there were a few unanswered quesitons," said a senior police officer.

Rawat's name surfaced with three other MPs when an accused, Sunder Lal Yadav, allegedly told the police they were involved in the racket.
The officer said Rawat was asked if he knew Rajendra Gampa and Yadav. Rawat reportedly said he knew the two accused, but he was not a part of the racket.

Police said they have Rawat's travel details that shows he smuggled a certain Sandeep Singh to the US on a forged passport.

Meanwhile, travel agent Mohammad Rasheed Ali reportedly revealed he had planned to send 10 people abroad a few days before BJP MP Babubhai Katara was arrested.
