Former Karnataka chief minister BS Yeddyurappa on Wednesday said that he will meet the BJP central leadership in New Delhi a day after he refused to heed to party summons.

On Tuesday, party chief Nitin Gadkari spoke to Yeddyurappa over phone and reportedly warned him that tough action would be taken against him if the stand-off continued.
He was asked to join in the budget session and assured that a decision on his demands will be taken only after March 30, when the session ends.
Demanding the reinstatement of Yeddyurappa as the chief minister, his team of over 50 MLAs had been camping at a five-star resort on the outskirts of Bangalore since Sunday.
They claimed they have the support of 70 legislators and had given the Central leaders time till Tuesday to reach a decision.
Gadkari had reportedly been asked by the RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat to take action against the rebels.
In the evening, the Yeddyurappa team held a meeting and decided to send a delegation of senior party leaders, including minister Jagadish Shettar, to meet the Central leaders on Wednesday.
Later, party leader Basawaraj Bommai told reporters that all legislators supporting Yeddyurappa would participate in the budget session.
