The juvenile had escaped along with the gang leader on May 16. After his escape, the juvenile boarded a DTC bus and headed to a Sai Baba temple in Uttam Nagar. “We apprehended the juvenile from Lodhi Colony when he reached there to meet the leader of his gang who is still on the run,” said H.G.S. Dhaliwal, deputy commissioner of police (south).

He was apprehended four times in south Delhi for allegedly burgling government houses and later setting them on fire to destroy evidence. Police had recovered two laptops, Rs 1 lakh, two pistols and jewellery worth lakhs from him.

Police were investigating whether he is below 18 years of age and will collect his school certificates.
