The CBI on Monday opposed Swan Telecom director Vinod Goenka's application seeking CFSL report of the documents endorsed by him to seek licenses under 2G spectrum case.

The CBI on Monday opposed Swan Telecom director Vinod Goenka's application seeking CFSL report of the documents endorsed by him to seek licenses under 2G spectrum case.

The investigating agency referred his request to seek report as pre mature. Goenka has sought some vital documents, including the CFSL report on which he had signed and was being used by CBI for his prosecution.

He said he needed those documents for seeking expert opinion and for preparing his defence in the case.
