While this may seem virtually impossible to many, counselors and teachers feel that effective time management and smart revision techniques can accomplish the task.

Their first piece of advice: Unwind before the next exam.

“You need to leave all thoughts and anxiety related to the previous paper behind. What a student needs is some free time of about four to five hours after a paper is over. The best way to make the most of this time is by sleeping,” said Geetanjali Kumar, counselor with CBSE.

Starting new chapters in between two examinations is a big no. And as far as revision is concerned, its best to focus on chapters you forget easily.

Adequate sleep should be your priority. Seven to eight hours of sleep is a must.
