The Delhi transport department is studying London’s bus system and trying to adopt some of technology as well learn from their experience.

Delhi transport minister Arvinder Singh Lovely, transport commissioner R.K. Verma and some other senior department officials are on a two–day visit to London for studying their systems.

“This was basically to study the existing technology for automatic fare collection. We intend to introduce this on buses operating on the BRT corridor. But we are trying to figure out the implications of such a system in the Delhi situation,” said Lovely.
