City to suffer power cuts as maintenance work starts

Different parts of the city will witness power cuts in the next few days as Delhi Transco Limited will carry out maintenance work on a transformer at 400 KV sub-station in Bamnauli.

Different parts of the city will witness power cuts in the next few days as Delhi Transco Limited will carry out maintenance work on a transformer at 400 KV sub-station in Bamnauli. Areas such as Najafgarh Jafarpur, Budela, Bindapur, Pappankalan and surrounding areas will be affected on Saturday and Sunday.

Also, power distribution company BSES Rajdhani Power Limited (BRPL) will also be carrying out augmentation work of its 11 KV system at the 220 grid sub-station in Dwarka. “Power supply will be affected, in some of the areas due to this activity,” said a spokesperson of BRPL.

DMRC shopping complex, Shyam Park, Nawada Village, Om Vihar-1, Anand Vihar, IP University, and surrounding areas will be affected on Tuesday.
