Civic body to meet l-g over STF issue

The matter was discussed at the Standing Committee meeting on Wednesday. “We’ll take up the STF issue with the L-G,” said the Chairman of Standing Committee Yogender Chandolia

“Our junior engineers and other staff have to accompany STF whenever there’s a demolition drive,” an MCD official said.

The grey area in construction scheme is also troubling the MCD. “The laws are not clear. There’s no clarity between fresh construction and repair work,” an MCD official said.

Municipal Commissioner KS Mehra assured that the matter will be looked into.
