“Digvijay Singh is a senior leader of the party... You have to ask him the meaning and scope of his statement,” party spokesman Abhishek Manu Singhvi said.

The BJP criticised Digvijay Singh for his reported remark on Batla House. Party spokesperson Ravi Shankar Prasad said, “This was the worst manifestation of vote bank politics.”
