Constable caught taking Rs 3,000 bribe

A constable from Mayur Vihar police station was caught red handed by the Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) of Delhi government for accepting a bribe of Rs 3,000.

A constable from Mayur Vihar police station was caught red handed by the Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) of Delhi government for accepting a bribe of Rs 3,000.

Constable Azad Singh had detained the complainant's father and was demanding Rs 5,000 for his release.

“The complainant approached us, we laid a trap and arrested the constable red handed while accepting Rs 3,000," Deputy Commissioner (ACB) ID Shukla said.
