"The animal skin that was made into a trophy measuring 3 meters in length and two meters in width and is suspected to have been brought to India from abroad," said HGS Dhaliwal, deputy commissioner of Police (South).
The accused have been identified as Deepak Yadav. He was apprehended on a tip-off from Jor Bagh area, where he was coming to hand it over to another businessman. Yadav told police that he had stolen the skin from the house of a leading businessman, residing in Sheetal Bagh area of Mumbai, in 2004, when he was working there as a security guard.
