The police rushed to spot and evacuated hundreds of passengers leading to chaos.
A frantic search was launched by the bomb detection and dog squads for about one-and-a-half hours.
The bus service was restored after the search. According to the police officials, they received a call from an unknown person at the police control room at about 2.26 pm saying
He had planted a bomb in main bus terminal complex near fountain roundabout.
Police have identified the caller. They said the person would be arrested soon.
