The party renominated two of its sitting MPs, AV Bellarmin and P Mohan, and introduced a new face, PR Natarajan who would contest from the Coimbatore seat earlier held by the CPI.
Bellarmin would contest from the Kanyakumari seat, called Nagercoil before delimitation which he represented in the 14th Lok Sabha, while Mohan would fight from Madurai, the constituency he won in 2004.
AIADMK chief J Jayalalithaa and CPI(M) state secretary N Varadarajan had on Monday finalised the poll pact after several rounds of negotiations lasting over a fortnight.
