"The police foundation for education runs a school - Delhi Police Public School - for the students of Delhi Police personnel. To improve the infrastructure of the school and to reduce its financial burden, a cultural night is being organised. The fund collected from the sponsors will be used for the improvement of school," said Rajan Bhagat, PRO, Delhi Police.

Singers Mika Singh and Sukhwinder Singh would be performing at the event. Hindustan Times is one of the sponsors of the event.

"With over 84,000 men, we are the largest metropolitan police force in the world and it is the responsibility of the department to look after the kids of constables, who are on 24x7 duty and hardly get any time to look after their family. There was an urgent need of fund to provide better education to the students of the Delhi Police Public School," Bhagat added.
