Delhi: Abductor shoots minor girl’s brother for questioning relationship
A 20-year-old man was shot by his sister’s ‘abductor’ for objecting to his self-proclaimed ‘live-in relationship’ at Vijay Vihar in Delhi, the police said on Wednesday.

According to the police, the accused had allegedly abducted the victim’s sister, who is a minor, and been staying with her for the past one year.
On Saturday, the girl fought with his abductor and ran away to her parents’ house in Vijay Vihar.
“According to the girl’s family, the accused reached their house with a gun and threatened them to accept their relationship failing which he will shoot everyone in the family. The girl’s brother refused and got into an argument with him following which the accused shot him in his stomach,” said the official.
While the brother was rushed to the hospital, the accused fled the scene. He is recovering well, the police said.
“A case has been registered and we are searching the accused,” the official added.
