The Delhi government sacked a government school’s vice-principal on Wednesday, on charges of indiscipline.

The Delhi government sacked a government school’s vice-principal on Wednesday on charges of indiscipline.

The action against the vice-principal of Mandawali Government School was taken following a surprise visit by the deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia.

Sisodia said that he found three teachers, despite being absent at 8.15am, were marked present in the register. The principal of the school has also been given a show cause notice.

“Hav ordered termination of vice-principal of Mandawali Govt School as an indisciplinary action (sic).”

“In a surprise visit, I found 3 teachrs were absent but were shown present in the data base at 8.15 AM. Have given show cause notice to Principal (sic),” Sisodia said in a series of tweets.
