Over the past one month, after the gang rape of the 23-year old paramedic on the night of December 16, people have been spontaneously coming out on the streets to protest the incident and crimes against women.
After Section 144 was imposed at India Gate and other places in Central Delhi, the protest moved to Jantar Mantar.
In a bid to keep the movement alive and ensure safety and gender equality for all, these Delhiites will gather at the university campus from noon. "We want specific laws to be drafted and passed in Parliament,” one of the organisers said.
