Delhiites wake up to foggy day

Thin fog enveloped the city for the sixth consecutive day on Thursday, even as the minimum temperature was recorded at 8.5 degrees Celsius, 0.5 degrees above normal.

Meanwhile, the maximum temperature at 22.6 degrees, stayed a degree below normal.

Shallow fog, seen on Thursday, is expected to stay till at least the middle of this month. Humidity level in the city oscillated between 45 and 95%.

With a foggy morning and temperature between 8 and 22 degree Celsius, the weatherman has predicted similar conditions for Friday as well.

The lowest-ever minimum temperature for December is 1.1 degree Celsius recorded on December 26, 1945.
