Dikshit wants all roads in the city to be pothole-free and has instructed the chief secretary to call a meeting of all

road-owning agencies to come out with a common set of standards for the maintenance of roads.

She told the public works department to procure at least 10 automatic repair vans to take care of potholes on the spot. She said that the discoms should be made responsible for maintenance and upkeep of street lighting in their respective areas.
