Director of Prosecution appointed as department HOD

The Delhi government today gave additional powers to Director of Prosecution B S Joon by appointing him as the Head of Department with financial powers.

The Delhi government on Wednesday gave additional powers to Director of Prosecution B S Joon by appointing him as the Head of Department with financial powers.

Lieutenant Governor Tejendra Khanna, in an order passed on July 12, conferred the powers to Joon, who is Director Prosecution in the NCT government, a release said.

Joon, a prominent public prosecutor has handled various sensitive cases such as Nitish Katara murder case and Rahul Mahajan drug abuse matter.
