The water connections will be snapped after serving a notice, a DJB official said.

The DJB has provided water connections and sewer services to most of the over 1,200 unauthorised colonies, which were given provisional regularisation certificates by the Delhi Government in 2008.

He said a property owner will get rebate of 20% on the total due amount, if the same is deposited in lumpsum within three months from the date of notification. The revised policy will be effective January 1.
