There is, however, little chance of any change being made to the recently declared results.

The decision was taken at a meeting triggered by the large number of complaints the examination cell recently received from students on the arbitrary reduction of their internal assessment marks.

Moderation is a system by which the university tries to bridge the gap between low-scoring and high-scoring students by reducing marks of good students and scaling up marks of the not-so-good ones.
