For the long term, Falck is prepared to invest in more than 200 ambulances to cover the Delhi region.

"Technical teams from Falck have worked over the last two years with several Indian vendors, suppliers and fabricators to develop ambulances engineered to perform under Indian conditions.

“We are pleased to say that the transfer of technical knowledge from the Falck Group has resulted in Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulances in India functioning at a fraction of cost compared to Western Europe, while providing the same medical outcomes," said Anders Delcomyn Larsen, Falck Executive Vice President, Emergency Europe and Asia.

Falck's ambulance services have been launched to meet the rising demand from leading hospitals for quality emergency medical services in Delhi.
