Ex-cop burnt alive in car

A 62-year-old retired Delhi Police Sub Inspector was found charred to death in his car in Rohini’s sector 11 on Tuesday morning, police said. Rajkumar Chawla had retired from active duty in 2007.

A 62-year-old retired Delhi Police Sub Inspector was found charred to death in his car in Rohini’s sector 11 on Tuesday morning, police said.

“The incident took place at 12:15 am outside the Japanese Park located in Rohini’s Prashant Vihar area,” said a senior police officer on conditions of anonymity.

Police said a short circuit had probably caused fire in the white Maruti Zen car.
