Ex-CWG official in custody
A Delhi court on Thursday remanded former tourism ministry official Nachiketa Kapur in judicial custody till October 3. Kapur was arrested for allegedly securing a job with the 2010 Commonwealth Games Organising Committee by showing a forged educational certificate.

A Delhi court on Thursday remanded former tourism ministry official Nachiketa Kapur in judicial custody till October 3. Kapur was arrested for allegedly securing a job with the 2010 Commonwealth Games Organising Committee by showing a forged educational certificate.
Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (ACMM) Gautam Manan listed Kapur's bail plea for hearing on September 24.
Delhi Police sought Kapur's custody for one more day, saying he was required to be confronted with various documents collected during investigation.
Kapur was arrested after he had surrendered before the court on September 15 in connection with the case.
