In one of the FIRs registered on Sunday at the Parliament Street police station, the Delhi police named former army chief VK Singh and Ramdev.
Nine persons were arrested on Sunday evening on charges of attempt to murder and rioting over the violence during protests at India Gate in which 78 police personnel, including Taj Hasan, the joint commissioner of police (central range), and 65 protesters were injured.
Of the injured police personnel, the condition of a Delhi police constable Subhash Chand Tomar is critical.
The FIR in connection with the violence was registered at the Tilak Marg police station.
According to a senior police officer, the FIR in which Singh, Ramdev and five others were named was registered in connection with the clashes between their supporters and police at Jantar Mantar during a protest.
