Fire breaks out in New Delhi's Vikas Bhavan

A minor fire broke out at a high-rise building housing the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) in the national capital on Monday afternoon.

The blaze was spotted at the air-conditioner installed at the Income Tax officer (DDA) in Vikas Bhavan at ITO at 1.56 pm, fire brigade officials said.

Seven fire tenders were rushed to the spot, which doused the blaze.

No one was injured in the incident.

Short-circuit is suspected to be the reason behind the fire and police is investigating the matter, police said.
