Four killed in Delhi mishap

Four people, including two women, were killed when a speeding tanker lorry rammed into them at a bus stop in Dhaula Kuan here after hitting a DTC bus and an autorickshaw.

Four people, including two women, were killed when a speeding tanker lorry rammed into them at a bus stop in Dhaula Kuan here after hitting a DTC bus and an autorickshaw.

The tanker lorry, which was coming from Naraina in west Delhi, hit the stationary DTC bus and autorickshaw at the bus stand in Dhaula Kuan and rammed into the people who were standing near the vehicle.

Police said four people lost their lives in the incident and two were injured.

Three deceased -- Jasvir Kaur, Ramcharan Pokriyal and Kalcheswari -- have been identified while the identity of one victim has not yet been ascertained, they said.

The injured have been admitted to Trauma Centre at the Safdarjung Hospital.
