Veteran freedom fighter Pandit Brij Lal Kaul died in Noida near New Delhi following a protracted illness, family sources said on Monday. Kaul, 86, a 'tamra patra' holder for his contribution to freedom struggle, was jailed for two years during the 'Quit Kashmir' movement in 1942.He breathed his last in his residence on Sunday night.Famous in Jammu and Kashmir literary circles, Kaul had a number of works of Kashmiri literature to his name.
