Games GoM to meet today, get a glimpse of theme song

Meeting for the first time after a series of allegations of corruption and financial wrong doings rocked the CW Games preparations, the Empowered Group of Ministers on the Games, which is meeting on Sunday at 7 p.m., will get a glimpse of the Games theme song composed by music director AR Rahman.

The GoM is chaired by Union Urban Development Minister S. Jaipal Reddy. A presentation on the opening and closing ceremony will also be made.

The GoM is also likely to discuss the issue of civic agencies missing various deadlines. The GoM had earlier fixed an August 10 deadline to clean the construction debris from across the city. The civic agencies have failed to do so.
