Girl abducted in Hapur, raped in Delhi

A 16-year-old girl was kidnapped from Uttar Pradesh, raped repeatedly in Delhi and dumped, of all the places, near the office of the National Commission for Women.

A 16-year-old girl was kidnapped from Uttar Pradesh, raped repeatedly in Delhi and dumped, of all the places, near the office of the National Commission for Women.

The victim was abducted from Hapur in the last week of July. She was gang raped for a few days in Delhi, said a police officer.

After finding her in an unconscious state, she was rushed to a hospital where she recuperated.

"We have arrested one man in this case. We are hopeful of nabbing the other accused very soon," said the officer.
