After talking to some other parties, finance minister Pranab Mukherjee met senior BJP leaders to fix the schedule, although a large number of MPs were initially opposed to the plan. The UPA government will try to pass the whistleblowers bill and the judicial accountability bill during these three days.

Eight hours are likely to be allotted to discuss and pass the lokpal bill in Lok Sabha.
