In a standing committee meeting on Tuesday, the civic body passed a resolution, thereby bringing good news for the 500-odd structures where parties can be organised with proper clearances now.

Standing committee chairman Rajesh Gehlot said, “There are many party lawns and mini halls in unauthorised colonies and lal doras where wedding ceremonies and other small functions are organised.

As food is provided in these areas, it should come under the health licence.”
