‘India Day’ held at Bluebells Intl

A plethora of literary events -- poetry enactment, recitation, debates, speeches, turncoat and quizzes were held. Principal Anjali Aggarwal welcomed the gathering.
The finale was a theatre festival where students presented English and Hindi plays based on extracts from literature. Judges for various activities were Manav Mehra, Dharam Arora and Siddharth Bhatia from the Yatrik theatre group.
Bluebells School International, Kailash celebrated India Day with students of New Delhi Japanese School, Vasant Kunj. About 80 students, 7 teachers and 50 parents from the Japanese school and Mr. Uchiyama, Director, JIC, Embassy of Japan attended the function along with members of the Japan Foundation, New Delhi.
Welcoming guests, Principal, Suman Kumar said, “Bluebells firmly believes these exchanges go a long way in helping children of India and Japan forge lasting friendships and co-exist harmoniously.”
On the occasion of Founder’s Day, ASN Sr. Sec. School, Mayur Vihar–I organised various sports events.
On the concluding day, a cultural programme was held, comprising of song and dance performances. Medals and certificates were awarded to the winners. Chairman K.L. Luthra lauded efforts of students.
