JNU national convention

At the behest of the Jawaharlal Nehru University Students’ Union (JNUSU), representatives from several universities in Jammu, Allahabad, Aligarh, Patna, Nagpur, Jamia Millia Islamia and Delhi University attended a national convention at JNU.

They deliberated on issues of campus democracy and resolved to form a national platform to struggle for democratically elected student unions and against the Lyngdoh Committee recommendations.

They also decided to get in touch with students from other universities to join in.
