Journalist’s chain snatched
The Capital witnessed yet another case of snatching, this time it was a journalist who was targeted on Friday.

The Capital witnessed yet another case of snatching, this time it was a journalist who was targeted on Friday.
The police said two men on a motorcycle snatched a gold chain from a journalist near her office in Green Park in south Delhi on Friday. Senior correspondent Pratibha Raju was walking to her office from the Green Park Metro station when a motorcycle cruised by and the man on the pillion snatched her ‘mangal sutra’.
“I ran behind the speeding motorcycle shouting for help. But no one, not even the policemen at the nearby picket, responded,” Raju said. The police picket is located barely 50 metres from where the incident occurred. A complaint has been lodged at the Safdarjung Enclave police station.
