Jundal planned attack on Nashik Police Academy

Jundal and his associates studied the attack on the Lahore Police Academy in Pakistan on March 30, 2009, allegedly by Taliban and planned an attack on the Nashik Police Academy on similar lines.

Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist and 26/11 Mumbai attacks handler Abu Jundal alias Zabiuddin Ansari who is under the custody of Indian sucurity agencies, has confessed that he was planning to launch a major attack on the Nashik Police Academy in Maharashtra, according to media reports.

Jundal and his associates studied the attack on the Lahore Police Academy in Pakistan on March 30, 2009, allegedly by Taliban and planned an attack on the Nashik Police Academy on similar lines.

Sources said that the plan was foiled after the arrests in the Pune German bakery blast case in February, 2010.

Jundal, an Indian national from Maharashtra, is believed to be one of the key handlers in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks and the voice directing them. He was arrested by the Indian security agencies after he was deported from Saudi Arabia.
