"About nine students complained of nausea after having mid day meal. They were taken to a nearby nursing home. All students have gone home after treatment. We have sent the samples for testing to a laboratory," said a senior MCD official.
The school has a strength of 1,254, out of which 911 students were present on Friday.
"Though only a few students were affected, we wanted to be sure about the food quality and have sent the sample to Sri Ram Institute for Industrial Research for testing. The mid day meal is supplied to the school by ISKCON, which has a good reputation," the official added.
A case has been registered in connection with the incident.
