The last Metro train service on Thursday will now start at 10 PM from the terminal stations of all Metro Lines including Airport Express Line (Dilshad Garden, Rithala, Jahangir Puri, Huda City Centre, Noida City Centre, Dwarka Sector-21, Vaishali, Kirti Nagar, Inderlok, Mundka, Central Secretariat, Mandi House, Badarpur and New Delhi & Dwarka Sec-21 Metro stations of Airport Express Line).

Metro train services will run as usual for rest of the day on Diwali from 6 AM to 8 PM.

From 8 PM to 10 PM, the trains on all lines will run with a frequency of about 30 minutes and thereafter, the last train service will be at 10 PM from terminal stations of all lines instead of the normal time of 11 pm, Dayal said.

Previously, the last Metro train services started at 8 pm from terminal stations but this year the DMRC MD has decided to keep the service open up to 10 pm and in case there is sufficient passenger movement during this extended period on Diwali on Thursday then the timings may continue to be extended in the coming years also.
