The proposal has been mooted by MCD Standing Committee Chairman RK Singhal at a meeting of the panel in which the budget estimates for 2010-11 were finalised on Monday.

"A license fee of Rs 100 per cattle brought in vehicles be recovered on entry in MCD area from neighbouring states," he said.

"This may be collected by the agency collecting toll tax or as may be decided by the Commissioner, and credited to Municipal Fund," Singhal said.
