“No one saw him jumping and there is no suicide note. The angle of foul play cannot be ruled out and we are investigating the case,” said a senior police officer requesting anonymity. The body has been sent for an autopsy and its report is awaited. The incident was reported around 11am.

Shah was taken to AIIMS Trauma Centre where he succumbed to his injuries. “Shah left his I-block Moti Bagh residence at 9.45am. We have contacted his family and will take their statements. His phone call details will also be scanned,” the officer added. “No one saw him going to the balcony of the seventh floor.”
