"The man has been identified as Om Dutt, an iron trader, who is a resident of Dwarka Sector 23,” said Sharad Aggarwal, DCP (southwest).

Dutt is the uncle of Kuldeep, who was gunned down with his wife Monica on June 20 last year in an honour killing case.

"I talked to him at 8:30pm and he said he would come home by 9pm. When we called him again around 9pm, his phone was switched-off. We went looking for him and found him under the Naraina flyover," said his brother Rajiv Kumar.

Dutt was under the influence of alcohol as per preliminary medical examination, police said. "What is strange is that the Rs 30,500 that he was carrying and the jewellery on his body was intact. Only his mobile phone was missing," police said.
