Man moves HC over nursery admission

A day after private schools in the Capital released their lists of students for nursery admission, a parent has approached the Delhi High Court alleging the school has not followed the guidelines under the Delhi School Education Act.

A day after private schools in the Capital released their lists of students for nursery admission, a parent has approached the Delhi High Court alleging the school has not followed the guidelines under the Delhi School Education Act. Lawyer Rakesh Mittal has alleged that Raghubir Singh Junior Modern School, Humayun Road, has violated the criteria under the Act.

He said he had applied for his son’s admission in the school because it is very near to his house. He also alleged that the school asked the parents to appear for an interview on December 21, which is against the guidelines. Justice G.S. Sistani will hear the matter on Wednesday.
