MBA student critical after being shot
A 22-year-old MBA student was shot by two unidentified men outside her residence in Narela area of outer Delhi on Sunday night.
A 22-year-old MBA student was shot by two unidentified men outside her residence in Narela area of outer Delhi on Sunday night.
Police said the victim, identified as Neha, had parked her car and was entering her house when bikers shot her.
“The incident took place in Shivaji Nagar area in Narela at around 8.40pm. Neha, who is doing her MBA, had returned from a friend’s place in her car,” a senior police officer said.
A bullet hit her waist while another hit her hand.
She was rushed to a nearby hospital where she is undergoing treatment.
Police said they were investigating the motive behind the incident.
“She is admitted at Ganga Ram Hospital and her condition is critical. We are suspecting someone known involved in the incident,” the police officer added.
A case of attempt to murder has been registered at Narela police station.
“We are waiting for her to get fit enough to record her statement. Robbery was not the motive behind the shooting,” the police officer added.
