"All the major departments will coordinate for the drive," Delhi Mayor Prithvi Raj Sawhney, Leader of the House Subhash Arya and Standing Committee chairman Yoginder Chandolia jointly announced on Wednesday.
Asked about the agitating safai karmcharis, Sawhney said, "We hope to get a solution through meetings and talks. The issue has already been settled in central zone but if there are problems in other areas, we would take stern measures."
Sanitation workers had striked work during the last week demanding regularization of those employed since 1994 and for payment of arrears.
Some withdrew their agitation on Tuesday after assurance from the Lt Governor while some continued agitation on Wednesday.
