Metro seeks funds for facelift

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation is contemplating a facelift for its stations before the Commonwealth Games.

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation is contemplating a facelift for its stations before the Commonwealth Games.

According to senior Delhi government officials, the DMRC has sought Rs 40 crore from the state government to uplift its stations.

The money, said officials, will be used to maintain and renovate stations constructed in first phase of Metro expansion.
