A minor fire broke out in the office of Life Insurance Corporation in the heart of the capital this morning, fire brigade officials said.

No one was injured in the blaze that erupted in a room in Jeevan Prakash building at around 10 am where office records and furniture were kept, the officials said.

Six fire tenders were rushed to the spot.

An electrical fault in an air conditioner caused the fire, the officials said.
