Hopeful of the child’s healthy survival and long life, doctors are keeping their fingers crossed.

“The child has so far responded extremely well to the procedure and is stable,” said Dr AK Bisoi, Additional Professor, cardiac surgery, who has been in the ICU monitoring the baby for over 24 hours now.
