‘Molester’ thrashed on Blueline bus
A 30-year-old man was thrashed when he was allegedly caught molesting women on a Blueline bus at India Gate crossing, police said. HT Correspondent reports.
A 30-year-old man was thrashed when he was allegedly caught molesting women on a Blueline bus at India Gate crossing, police said.

Passengers caught hold of Virendra Kumar and beat him up when two students raised an alarm that he was misbehaving with them, the police said.
The incident was reported around 5 pm at the Kasturba Gandhi Road-India Gate crossing on Wednesday. Kumar was later on handed over to the police. A resident of Bhogal in southeast Delhi, Kumar earlier used to work as a share broker but was now unemployed.
“A group of 11 women were travelling together. Two of them complained that the man was repeatedly leaning over them and misbehaving. The women — students of a technical institute had boarded the train from Nizamuddin railway station,” said a senior police officer on condition of anonymity.
Police said when the bus plying on route 966 reached the India Gate crossing, the women started shouting for help. Passengers forced the crowded bus to stop. Kumar was dragged out and beaten up by the crowd, the police said.
Police said a medical examination was conducted at RML Hospital where his condition is said to be stable.
